I read the thread on LV tournaments. Where are some good casino's on the strip to play ring games ($1-$2NL or $3/6L)? Hopefully where I'm not the only fish at the table.

If you had to pick one tournament to play ($50-$125 buyin) which one would you choose. Preferably without rebuys/addons.

I like the Venetian for 1/2NL. The Wynn is nice as well but its uncapped.

The Wynn's smallest game is 1/3. Same with Treasure Island.

For some reason, 1-2 is tame, but 1-3 is like letting a bunch of drunken monkies sail a cruise liner through the caribean. Its a total disaster. Ive never seen more stupidity, more bad beats, or more death threats then when playing 1-3. I prefer 2-5 or even 5-10 over 1-3.

My favorite game on the strip is probably the bellagio.. smallest limit is 2/5. 2nd favorite..... probably planet hollywood.

I like the Wynn $1/3 NL, Ceasars $1/2 NL and Venetian $1/2 NL.

the wynn turned me off. after looking over their 1/3, there was a guy sitting there with gold chains all over tyhe place and about 40,000 on the table.

uncapped seemed kind've dumb after that

If his effective stack is only $1k then it doesn't really matter how much he has on the table. Some people just like to show off I guess.

but it also changes your game. youre not really "playing poker" with 9 people at that point. if youre sitting out of position vs. him, its just "lets see if i can double up once or twice vs this idiot and then hit n run"

not really my favorite way to play
