Going to Vegas in a few days and really want to take my card protector with me (not getting in trouble at customs is a whole other story  ) but would like to hear from others who have played there recently as to the appropriateness of card protectors. I know LV is known as "Sin City" but in reality, you never know who you are sitting down against, who you may or may not offend, and also, if the casino has any sort of "decency" rules.
My protector is small enough not to obscure the cards, doesn't hide/block chips, does not dabble in the occult or similar, but I do recognize some people might take some offense (of course, if you are sitting across from me gambling and drinking, I think getting offended by the "bear" is really hypocritical). I love this guy because he always gets a conversation going (at least 80% of the people who see it have to touch it to see if it's real.......I wish) and I've even used him as an excuse to call a hand when I really shouldn't (trust me, once the bear calls, people will listen)

So, based on experience, would a casino have issue with this as my card protector?

Any useful comments are always welcome and please try to keep it on topic.....thanks in advance guys.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
