Since I'm in Texas, my most viable option for casino games are the casinos on reservations just over the river in Oklahoma.

Does anyone frequent these casinos, and if so, which ones are the best for poker?

I'm looking for varieties of games, especially omaha and omaha/8, soft tables, best comps and bonuses, general atmosphere.

Just basically which of these casinos are best for poker. The Winstar is closest, but I'd be willing to drive longer for a better experience.

Also would appreciate info on the best poker in Shreveport.

Never been to any of the Casinos in Oklahoma but my friend has. I think the big one in Norman, OK spreads a 5/10 omaha 8 game on the weekend.

I live in Shreveport, LA. The gambling is okay down here but not much for Omaha games. On Wedesdays you will find a $1/2 PLO game at the horseshoe but thats about it. The 1/2 NL is really soft down here. The eldorado would be your best bet if you are going to play hold em.

How come that there are Indian Casinos in Oklahoma? Why would they implement that? I never heard of that before and I don't know why?
