I'll have a bank roll of about 800-1,000 for about 5 days. I was wondering if anyone knows some of the better places to play at, or possibly some decent small buy-in tournys i could check out thank you

I like the $1/3 NL game at the Wynn or Ceasars the best.

1/3 at the Wynn $800-1k won't last long as its only 2 bullets. They don't cap the buy in there so I would avoid it on a short roll. Just play at any of the large Casinos and you will be able to find a decent 1/2 NL game with $300 max buy in.

i just played at barona an indian casino around me and i found the 1/2 attracts some really horrible players.... i know that is what i want but it seems the worse the player the better their luck, is there a big difference from the 1/2 to the 1/3?

also tips.... i see everyone tossing 1$ on pots of 10$ to pots of 150$ is this a correct way of doing it? i seem to not tip for pots 10-20 but for big pots i toss anywhere from 3-6$ maybe im too kind....

if you cant tell im young and very new to casino games thank you for any and all your help

I tend to tip $1 on normal pots, and from $2-5 on large pots. I will not tip if the hand does not go to the flop at least, or if the pot is very small. My 'tipping range' tightens if I'm paying time, which I don't think you do at any vegas casinos at the stakes you are looking to play.
