Hello folks,
I was playing poker w/ buddies and a dispute broke out.
If the board has a A9k47
Player 1: Q3
Player 2: J3
Player 3: 82
The players have no pairs and no flush, is the above a split or does player 1 win due to the Queen?
I was told the rules are:
1) high card of each hand, then
2) pair
3) then 2 pair
4) then 3 of a kind and so on in texas holdem.
So I and one other player thought player 1 wins, but the third player thought its a split due to the Ace being the high community card and there is no such thing as two high cards in the "high card" rule.
Any comments?
