First time in a poker table. $100 buy-in. I had $40 after 1:10 mints. I had been getting trash hands in the last 15 mints. I was so nervous that my hands were shaking like a PS3 controntrol.
My hand Ks-8s. (Late position)
This guy check in front of me, I bet all-in, he look his cards again and put a sad face. Then he call.
Flop: 10c-s9-2s
Turn: Qd
River: Jh
And he got his straight!!!
How bad I played??

As long as you had fun doing it, then you played just fine.

But you got a straight too! Thats awesome! You must've won the pot! Good job!

You didn't play bad at all. Always remember that if you won the hand, then you played it well. A poker player's status is based on results, not odds or statistics. Since you made a straight, you must be pretty good!!!

You shouldn't have so many mints at the poker table. I hope you offered some to the other players

I want to apologize about a little mistake. I had K-7.
He had 7-8. I was thinking in his hand! Anyways that thing about the drinks was funny. (I'm only 18).
I believe when you play hard and try as hard as you can you deserve to win.
The previous 2 hands:
I had Q-9. Six peoples to the flop.
Flop: 9-K-3 (I check)
Turn: 6 (I bet 5)
5th Street: 8. (I check)
2 of them had pair of 6s, 2 had A high and one pair of 3s.
(I won).
Ah-Jh. I bet 15, one caller.
I didn't saw the flop and bet 25 again (he fold).
SORRY ABOUT THE MISTAKE

You have K-7, he have 7-8. After flops the last card there has Q-J-T-9 on the middle cards, i am thinking you have straight here and will win, but he make bet and dealer in unfairness give him pot, you order more vodka, everyone laugh and all are happy. now you wonder if you play it well or am just thinking two mush.

am i get the jist of things now?
