Unless this is a satellite or if 18th place money is significant, I think I make the call. I hate it, but I think I make it.

He's so unlikely to be making that rediculous bet with a made flush. With the PFR, it's likely something like AK/AQ, maybe an underpair with a spade. Yeah, ould have a spade with it but maybe not. I think the opportunity here to take a commanding chip lead at this stage is worth the risk.

first of all, yes its upsetting. this happens in poker. Of course you make the call ,especially if you have a read on this guy as loose or a move-maker.

You had him beat pretty badly too, but he got lucky.

You should feel good that you played it right and chalk it up to variance. Even though conserving your stack at this stage is paramount in order to get to the big cash, you cant pass up top 2 pair vs a loose player.
