Final table of a 570 person MTT. Villain has been somewhat active but not too out of line. Has managed to avoid showing down hands at the final table and I hadn't sat with him prior in the tourney. What do you do with his flop bet?

HERO ???

Just a few hands ago, Villain and I were in a multi-way pot with an all-in and a similarly dry sidepot. We both checked it down.

Calling is terrible to me since it just pot commits me more but can I get away assuming he has to be doing this with an ace or better?

Your big mistake here is not shoving all in preflop, since you only have around 10bbs and there is already a limper. Yes, KK is a great hand and you want to get the most value, but you want to avoid situations exactly like this one where you absolutely have to call even knowing you are likely behind.

As you played it, you can never ever fold here since you would be so short stacked.

Next time push preflop and then you won't have to worry about it :D

Agreed I should have shoved preflop. I made the mistake of trying to play cute and get someone to come along for the ride. People had been folding to shoves so fancy play syndrome took over with me trying to extract value.

Should I call though or shove Kugr?

Shove 100%. Just calling is really weak and there isn't any point in leaving yourself with a few bbs. You also don't want to let any hands like QQ or TT catch up for free.
