cliffkp: raises 5.00

turn: 6s

playing at a loose table, player after me has been raising constantly. folding to reraises often too in the last hour.

blinds: .50/1.00
cliffkp: 46.80 QQ
caller: 67.00 ??

preflop
caller raises to 3.00
cliffkp re raises to 8.00

flop: 10d 4c 5h
caller: bets 8.00
cliffkp: reraise all in
caller: calls with Kh 6c !!!

turn: 6

river: 6

cliffkp: calmly tries to resist the temptation of throwing his monitor out the window.

that exact same scenario would happen to me 3.. yes 3 more times in the next hour and a half... i've heard of bad luck but it seemed like things were rigged to me.. anyway.. anybody done anything different?

First hand with half your stack in the pot already and the possibility of him bluffing the flush card I don't think it's right to fold.

Second hand is just bad luck :(

First hand:

your reraise is to small in my oppinion. raised this to 5 or 6 to get out small pockets and high aces.

with this the pot would be about 12 ... next bet would be 14 or 15 to make the badest odds ever for someone who plays Ax with a flushdraw.

If he calls anyway i think he wouldn´t play a flush ... more like AK... so on turn you go allin...

You have to make sure that AA is JUST ONE pair of aces...
can´t belive he plays KJ or some other ****... but after raising this small... and calling your reraise i put him on a small pocket...

and 77,66 or 44 is very very possible...
i think you made a VERY God fold here!

second hand:

badbeat! but be sure that guys like this freak will double you up everytime on another day

A 3x reraise is completely standard and if anything a 3-bet should be slightly less than 3x unless someone has already called it.

Overbetting the pot is a really bad move basically 100% of the time.

Unless you're playing live :) Then it can be a value bet.
