GNUF will take a lot of work to clear at NL25, if at all even possible. I'm on the promo right now, splitting between NL50 and NL100, and after about 3000 hands I've just passed 200 points. Another problem is most action seems to be from Europeans, meaning you'll have trouble finding a full-ring game late night in North America. No problem is you play short-handed though.

Sorry in advance for bad english since I am no native speaker ...

The explanation on PSO for the 400 Gnuf points says that you get points even if you did not participate in the pot. That sounds cool to me.
The minimum rake in a hand for getting points is 0.25$ ... how much rake in % does Gnuf take from the pot?

Couldn´t you just play very tight at let´s say 10 full ring tables to easy and quickly collect those 400 points?

I just completed the Gnuf promo.

If you can stand playing $1/$2 fixed limit then its easy.

You get 0.4 points for every that is raked 0.25 ($5 pot size).

Thats 100 raked hands and NO you dont have to contribute, just get dealt in.

There is usually between 4-6 full ring $1/$2 games on between 5-11pm GMT.

I play more SnGs so I´m no cashgame pro.
But that sounds extremely easy to me. You need at least a 5$ pot at your table to get points (at least 0.4). So at $1/$2 Limit or NoLimit, about every pot is raked >0.25$ isn´t it? So finishing the promo should take about three or four hours playing 4 tables. One has just to sit down, steal some blinds with monsterhands and wait to finish the promo right? :)

Fraggle,

I hardly ever play NL. But I know that NL points are slightly different than FL. Check out the points distribution here https://gnuf.com/community/forum/bonuses-promotions/3288-how-do-i-earn-gnuf-points-poker.html

I was roughly the same... except I played a few hundred hands of NL200 as well...

Took a long time to clear this one for me.

Maybe you downloaded the .net software instead of the .com software?

hardest promotion for me so far and I played NL 20 6max, no more that 2 tables (because of the software, couldn't get used to it). I needed to collect 500 Gnuf points.

Hi,
does anybody know how much points do I get on NL25, when rake is 0,25$ or more? I have read that it depends on table limits in which I play, but do not know exactly for my NL25.
Thanks

You guys must be kiddin'

on NL100 you get 2.4 points for every RH (0,25$ rake)
So to collect 500 points you need just 209 RH -> 209 pots with 5 big blinds !!!
You tellin' me that 5 BB pots are happen once at 12 hands ?
THATS IMPOSSIBLE - nobody play there? just blinds?

I'm looking now for new promo and when I saw GNUF requirements I thought this is the easiest promo on PSO.

So whats wrong here? I asking seriously because I'm confused. :?

NL 20 6max.
Played some hours today (about 6 hours) at 4 tables.
Already cleared half of the requirements!

you can't compare the posts from 2007 with those of 2008 because somewhere early 2008 Gnuf changed the way they compute the gnuf points and it became much easier to get your points: now it's non-contrubuted and every time the rake reaches 0.25dol you get a full point. So on 0.5/1 FL tables or 50NL, each hand with some action gets you a point (and a very fast clearable PSO bonus:-)

And its even a a nice room with nice support (even if you have to ask some questions twice :-)
