Tabletop just arrived via UPS. Wow. Very nice.

It's seems to be made out of wood or some other heavy composite material. Real felt over the wood. Drink/chip holders that are reversable so you can use them playing on both the poker and BJack side.

It weighs about 20 pounds, so it shouldn't slide all over the place. I'll be taking it to my home game tonight (with my PSO chipset too).

Now if all these tight a$$es I play with would just sign up for a PSO promo, I could make some referral $$$.

2+ days since I requested my GClub cashout and haven't heard a peep. I will keep everyone posted on that process.......

Thanks again to PSO for the great tabletop promo.

What are the deminsions?

Does the felt "fuzz up" when messing around with the chips?

Would you pay $50 for it?

4ft x 4ft.

Felt seems decent, but haven't played on it yet so I cannot say.

Yes, I think it's worth $50.

After further inspection, it's definitely made out of wood and not some cheap composite plastic.

I'm in the same boat as Smurfie. How long did it take to get the email for those of you that have already done this?

Mine is due to arrive Aug 6 in Vancouver. I'll let you know how it goes with customs. $23 for customs is not bad, but UPS may tag on a $30 brokerage fee. In fact I may decide to go clear it through customs myself. It should fit in my car ok.

I think the $23 includes custom and brokerage fee according to someone who bought the table using their FPP points.

I was really jazzed about signing up for this promo, but then I had the horrible home tourney tonight and not sure I want to continue playing with the bozos...the table would likely just gather dust in my garage..... Someone convince me otherwise.

You're right...I just need to sleep it off, wake up tomorrow and start over again.

UPS is notoriously bad when it comes to brokerage/custom fees.. you can always pick it up at ups and do it yourself, but depending on where the UPS building is near you it might not be worth it...

Won 2 out of 3 little hold'm tourny's I was in last night on the new table!!! Worked great. Everyone thought it was cool, and a great deal, but none of them are getting into on-line poker. I tried.

Using the table..... +$115! :P

Get your friends to play right. Document the rules BEFORE you start playing. If they refuse to play blinds, don't let them play. Play a video of the WSOP or the WPT or something so they understand how the blinds work.

I find a lot of tension at my home games about the blinds increasing. We have done it based on time, trips around the table and player elimination.

One time we did it based on player elimination and trips around the table, and the guy to my left, who started with 1500 chips was all in on the blind the second time it came to him. (I knocked out 5 in the first 10 hands) He came in third!

The most success I have is with a little kitchen timer, set for 30 minutes. We go 5/10, 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 250/500, and cap at 300/600.

The guys always complain about the blinds going up too fast until they get knocked out, then they complain about them going up too slow. That's how I know they are at the right speed.
