Followers of the analytical,mathematical poker theory need to understand the term gambling. poker is not starting hand charts,followed by implied odd,pot odd,mathematical strategy. poker is gambling and gambling -is to play games of chance for money.interesting game of chance-the happening of events without apparent cause,fortuity,luck. gambling(poker) is to play a game of luck for money. interesting how all the hand charts,implied odd,pot odd,analytical strategy just went out the window. gambling is to take a risk in order to gain some advantage. take a risk-to expose oneself to chance of injury or loss-yes loss-the damage,trouble,disadvantage,deprivation caused by losing something.(money will be lost) there is no strategy,theory,hand chart that will help you in poker.that is just someone writing a book for money. no poker player has ever given up his game. what is in this $50 book-bull$$$$. accept the fact poker is gambling and improve your game,otherwise keep following the futile advice on this site.

Save your money from poker and buy an english book with chapters on paragraph structure, punctuation and letter capitalization. It will help everyone including yourself out.

You are basically saying poker is based only on luck. If that were true you woulden't see famouse players making final tables in televised tournaments all the time. It would be a random selection of people, not a collection of online pros and famouse players.

Poker, gambling? NO F****** WAY!!! You are an idiot. Of course there's risk in poker. There's a risk of getting hit by a car everytime you cross the street. To lower those odds what do you do? You look both ways and cross when clear. Granted, in poker, the road is never completely clear, but playing with mathematics and using odds makes the road more clear. If a dumbass says to hell with the math and plays stupid cards when the odds are never decent in their favor, like you I assume, then you might as well be walking across the middle of main street during rush hour. YOU WILL GET HIT! Using the math, you at least have a chance of not being ran over. You're a damn idiot!!!
