Was this limit? If not, I probably would have got all my money in about 8 bets sooner lol. NH though.

Once you bet and Villain min-raises, I'm thinking he's got two diamonds. I don't want to min-raise him back and give him great odds to call and see the turn.

I agree. In general what I see is that a minraise in position is a drawing hand that wants to see the next card and hopefully get a check on the turn so they can bet if they hit or check to get another free card. A check minraise OOP usually indicates strength from what I've seen.

Since every single bet until the all in of less than the amount was 120, this is obviously limit poker, therefore not a "check minraise."

there are too many raises for it to be limit as there are more than 4 bets. Unless there is some new form of crazy limit that I don't know about.

Agreed, this formatted hand history is surprisingly bad, since it didn't include game type or stakes, which they usually do.

My reading of it as NL/PL is based on the SB posting 20 and completing, followed by flop bets of 120. If it was an FL game, flop bets would be 40.

hahahahhahahahahahhahahahahaahahah

It was no limit and it was funny. I posted the hand more as a joke than anything else.. I hate when people minraise me so out of spite I'll minraise back.. and then we had a long loop of minraising until I was finally all in.

Sorry for the confusion :/ And based on the limping, no I didn't give him credit for TT but that would have been even funnier to me.

I'm not sure why the converter ripped out the table info though.

When limit is heads up there's no limit to the number of re-raises allowed. I once got all in during a limit tournament's first few hands. After what seemed like a zillion re-raises I turned over quads vs. a guy who thought he had a straight.

****

Good call on the blinds, I didn't notice them in the HH. So what looked like a limit tournament hand was actually two retards who magically found each other!

Duggle, I almost commented on the "unlimited FL raising when pot is heads up", but didn't because I've only seen it at Crypto, and even then, it's only on the river.

Was your quads hand online or live?

It was live at Ameristar Casino in Kansas City about 6 or 7 years ago, back in the days when casinos had limit poker tournaments.

there's no cap on betting HU in limit on any street on Boss network. i think the rule makes perfect sense and should be standard. either player can stop the "pissing contest" any time they want.
