Purple Lounge - Software and Features:

Purple Lounge joined the Entraction Poker Network in early 2012 to give players an even safer, more stable and rewarding playing environment. They of course provide useful at-a-glance hand stats such as your flops viewed, show downs won etc. They also offer a nice player note taking feature so you can keep tabs on your opponents during play.

The lobby supplies all the vital table statistics, including hands played per hour, average pot size and viewed-flop percentage. The hand history feature works well in the software and can be stored in your hard drive for further analysis. They also support automated integration of Texas Hold’em both tournament and ring game data to PokerTracker. The only disadvantage is that it does not list the hands played in a session. There is a raked hand counter in the lobby of Purple Lounge which allows the player to keep track of how much they have played.

The multi-table feature supports simultaneous play of up to eight tables, which should be more than enough for all but the most intense grinder. The chat and the information dialogues take a fair amount of monitor space. Those with diminished vision might have a hard time distinguishing the hole cards they are not as clear as some other site. The room graphic are fairly ordinary. The table-integrated statistics are also part of the very useful special functions of the software.

Purple Lounge offers a pretty cool table re-size feature where you have tree different sizes available: large, normal and mini-view. The mini-view is great for multi-tabling or multi-tasking while getting in a few hands of poker. This software comes in both a download and a no-download flash version both are very functional, fast and reliable. The software updates are fairly frequent on Purple Lounge which helps ensure safety and stability.
