I was doing pretty well I thought in the AP 150k tonight, even though I barely got any good cards. Played very tight, got lucky a few times, and made my way 'til about 10 places towards the bubble. And then, finally some reallly good cards just as the blinds increased again.

I know, I know, **** happens - of course it's not the first time that happened to me. It's just that when I saw these aces, I was almost certain I'd now really make the bubble, which would have been a huge thing for me...

lol donkaments...My last two bubbles I have been eliminated with AJ vs A7 and KK vs AK All in pre. I hate waiting for the long run to even things out. Thats a terrible way yo go out. You'll get that your way next time and fly into the $$!

Hehe, waiting for the long run is indeed not too comforting in this situation. This is especially true for me here because there most likely won't be a long run (at least not in the forseeable future). I could only play in that tournament because of a bonus ticket I got - normally I'm not even close to having the money for such large events.

But anyway, one day later I'm actually quite satisfied that I was able to come that far in such a tournament which is waaay beyond my bankroll. In the end, I'm really no skilled tournament player anyway.

In tournamnets, I only lose when I'm ahead. My last 3 tournament final hands are:

My KJ vs. K5 preflop
My KK vs. A4 on a Q94 board.
My AQ vs. KJ preflop

This was now already the second time I got that offer (slightly different, but basically the same as the first time). I have no idea why they picked me already twice for this - I didn't know it in the first place either, since I've never been a regular player there. It seems as if I'm being mistaken for some VIP player or something, don't know. No reason to complain, of course

Moreover, when I made the deposit for the maximum bonus the last time, I even got another call/mail offering me to immediately make the same deposit ($2500) once again and have all the bonus parts doubled then, too. Too bad my bankroll didn't allow me to do this, or I'd still have yet another ticket for the $150k.
