$1,000,000 every year makes our british lottery look a bit rubbish :(

Is this for real? $1,000,000 a year? If they ask what can I do with this for 25 years of $1,000,000 allowance?

I would rather take over Bill Gates! Ahahaha!

I don't see why people prefer to have one prize of $25M rather than multiple winners of $1M or $2M prizes. $1M is pretty much enough to set you up for life if you aren't completely irresponsible.

After taxes $1-2m as a prize isn't going to be very much. To retire comfortably I think you most likely need $3m+ after taxes, so a $5-6m prize minimum. Plus there is always the chance that multiple people will have the winning numbers and the $25m could end up getting split several ways.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still love to win anything at all in the lottery :P

No taxes on gambling winnings in Canada! The pot getting split multiple ways is a good point though.
